Product Introduction
Pixhawk® 4 is the latest update to the successful family of Pixhawks. Flight controller. It was designed and developed in collaboration with Holybro and PX4 teams, optimized to run fully Dronecode stacked and up to preinstalled with the latest PX4 firmware (v1.7).
It features state-of-the-art microprocessor technology from ST Microelectronics®, sensor technology from Bosch ® , invenSense® and a NuttX real-time operating system, delivering incredible performance and flexibility , and reliability for the control of any autonomous vehicle.
The Pixwhawk 4's microcontroller now has 2 MB of Flash Memory and 512KB of RAM. With the increase in power and RAM resources, developers can be more productive and efficient with development work. More complex algorithms and models can be implemented on autopilot.
High performance, low noise onboard IMUs are designed for stable applications. Data-Ready signals from all sensors are routed to separate interval and timer pins on autopilot, allowing for precise timing-stamping of sensor data. Newly designed vibration isolations allow for more accurate readings, allowing the vehicle to achieve better overall flight performances.
Two external SPI buses and six chip-attached line selectors allow additional sensors and SPI-interfaced payloads. There are a total of 4 I2C buses, two dedicated for external use and two grouped with serial port for GPS/Compass module.
The Pixhawk 4 autopilot is perfect for developers at corporate research labs, startups, and for academia (researchers, professors, students, students).
